Jonathan Reid Gealt will be releasing a new album, “Here for You – Ballads for Broadway Impact,”  April 30, 2013, which  features many Broadway performers including Caissie Levy (former Elphaba, former s/b Elphaba – Los Angeles; former ensemble, u/s Elphaba – Broadway), Rachel Potter (former ensemble, u/s Glinda – 2nd Ntl. Tour), and Natalie Weiss (former ensemble, u/s Elphaba – 2nd Ntl. Tour).  The album will benefit Broadway Impact, an organization supporting marriage equality.

An album debut concert will be performed on April 29, featuring songs from “Here for You,” Gealt’s debut album “Thirteen Stories Down,” his upcoming musical DUST AND SHADOW, and more.

Other performers featured on the album will be: Jeremy Jordan, Kelli O’Hara, Loren Allred, Katie Thompson, Adrienne Warren, and Jason Gotay.

The debut concert will also feature: Zak Resnick, Emma Hunton, Michael Deleget, and Dan DeLuca.

Rachel Potter (former ensemble, u/s Glinda – 2nd Ntl. Tour) will give her final New York City performance at Rockwood Music Hall on February 10 at 7pm before moving to Nashville, Tennessee. Benshlomo, Gonzalez, Loprest, Potter to Perform at COMMUNITY SING

In an update to a previous announcement, four Wicked alums will now be performing at COMMUNITY SING: THE PEOPLE SING WITH THE BROADWAY ALL-STAR VOICES. The event, which will be performed this Sunday, February 3, 2013, at 7:00 PM at Carnegie Hall, will feature (among several other performers):

Etai BenShlomo (former Boq – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour, San Francisco)
Mandy Gonzalez (former Elphaba – Broadway)

Today, CMT.com released the music video for “Live the Dream”, an original country song by Rachel Potter (former ensemble, u/s Glinda – 2nd Ntl. Tour). Ms. Potter now performs the role of The Mistress in EVITA on Broadway, and as such, several of her castmates are in this video, including WICKED alums Laurel Harris (former ensemble, u/s Elphaba, Nessarose – 2nd Ntl. Rachel Potter (former ensemble, u/s Glinda – 2nd Ntl. Tour) will be offering a free concert tonight at Hill Country in New York City (30 W. 26th Street) at 10:00 pm.

As per playbill.com, she will be featuring both songs from her recent EP, “Live the Dream”, and some original tunes and country covers.

Ms. Potter is currently performing as The Mistress in EVITA on Broadway, which is closing on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

Appearing with Ms. Potter will be country duo The Vanity Belles. Ms. Potter will sing songs from her EP “Live the Dream”, new original songs, and covers of other songs. Mary Thomas (former ensemble, u/s Boq – Broadway) will be one of the performers singing backup vocals. The concert beings at 6pm.
