Mark Jacoby To Reprise His Role In ELF
0Mark Jacoby (former Wizard – 1st Ntl. Tour) will reprise his role of Walter in the holiday musical ELF. Mr. Jacoby first played this role in the 2010-2011 Broadway production. The show will play on Broadway from November 9, 2012 – January 6, 2013. For tickets, visit Telecharge.
Mark Jacoby Cast In THE NUTTY PROFESSOR
0Mark Jacoby (former Wizard – 1st Nat’l Tour) has been cast as Dean Warfield in a new musical, THE NUTTY PROFESSOR. The show has plans to transfer to Broadway. THE NUTTY PROFESSOR will have its world-premiere engagement at Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee from July 24 – August 19, 2012. For tickets, visit www.tpac.org/broadway.

Nicky Venditti has replaced Dominic Giudici as Chistery.
Nicole Parker and P.J. Benjamin to join “Wicked” 1st National Tour
0- We are very pleased to announce that Nicole Parker (former Elphaba – Broadway) and P.J. Benjamin (former Wizard – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour) will join the 1st National Tour of “Wicked” in Denver, CO. Mr. Benjamin will join the company on May 8, replacing Mark Jacoby (Wizard – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Ms. Parker will join the company on May 18, replacing Mamie Parris (Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour). The role of Elphaba is expected to be performed by Carla Stickler (s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – 1st Ntl. Tour; former ensemble, u/s Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – 1st Ntl. Tour) from May 15-17.

Laura Bell Bundy (s/b Glinda – Original Broadway Cast) has a small role in the movie musical DREAMGIRLS. She plays one of the Sweehearts.
Deedee Magno Hall (former Nessarose – San Francisco, 1NT) was the only principal actor to remain with the San Francisco company, for its entire run.
Mark Jacoby (The Wizard – 1NT) played “Judge Turpin” in the 2005 Broadway Revival of SWEENEY TODD.

0Sebastian Arcelus (former Fiyero – Broadway, 1NT) and Mark Jacoby (The Wizard – 1NT) both starred in the Original Broadway Cast of the holiday musical ELF. Mr. Arcelus performed the lead role of “Buddy” while Mr. Jacoby performed the role of “Walter”. Jan Neuberger (former Ensemble/Midwife, u/s Madame Morrible – Original Broadway Cast) performed “Grandma Who” in the Original Broadway Cast of the holiday musical HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. Katherine Tokarz (former Swing – Broadway) and Joseph Medeiros (former Ensemble, u/s Boq – Broadway) performed as “Rhoda/Ensemble” and “Quintet Member” in the holiday musical WHITE CHRISTMAS on Broadway.
Katie Rose Clarke (Glinda – 1NT; former Glinda – Broadway) and David Burnham (former Fiyero – Broadway) both appear in the PBS “Live From The Lincoln Center’ broadcast of THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. Ms. Clarke played “Clara Johnson” while Mr. Burnham performed in the ensemble. Later both would perform opposite each other in the 1st National Tour of the same musical, this time, with Mr. Burnham playing the role of “Fabrizio Naccarelli”, the role he understudied on Broadway.
Ben Vereen (former Wizard – Broadway, Chicago) played the role of “ ‘Chicken’ George Moore” in the 1977 miniseries ROOTS, based on the popular novel by Alex Haley.
