Mamie Parris (former Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) has been cast in Pittsburgh CLO’s upcoming production of SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS. Ms. Parris will play the leading role of Milly. The production will run June 11-16.

Mamie Parris (former Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) will perform in STARGAZA, the annual performance benefit for the Saugatuck Center for the Arts on May 18. The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 PM with the live performance starting at 8 PM. The event will take place at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts.
The evening will also include a live auction with vacations to Puerto Vallarta or St. Maarten. Tickets are $150 per person. Guests are asked to dress in cocktail attire. Proceeds will benefit affordable and accessible live performances and theatre at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts year-round. The Saugatuck Center for the Arts is located in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Tour) will perform in the upcoming concert, AN EVENING OF FIRSTS: BROADWAY’S FINEST SPILL ABOUT THEIR FIRST TIME April 29 at Stage 72. Presented as a benefit for the Believe NYC Scholarship Fund and PanCAN – The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the 7 PM concert promises “songs and stories of the first inspirations that led these performers to pursue careers on Broadway.”

Former “Wicked” cast members Mamie Parris (former Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Kristine Reese (former Nessarose – 2nd Ntl. Tour, 1st Ntl. Tour; former swing, u/s Nessarose – 1st Ntl. Tour) will be performing at “THE CONCERT”, a concert designed to highlight new musical theatre writers.
The concert, which will be held on Monday, January 21st, will take place at the Off-Broadway Second Stage Theatre. Sixteen other Broadway performers will also be singing at the event.
Mamie Parris (former Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) has been cast in the Muny Theatre’s production of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Ms. Parris will play the role of the Narrator. This production will run at the Muny Theatre in St. Louis, MO from July 23-29. The production is directed and choreographed by Lara Teeter.

On Monday, June 18, 2012 at 7 PM, a one-night-only concert version of the musical Baby will be performed at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York City. Twenty-four performers will be featured, five of which are either in “Wicked” currently or have been in the past. They are:

- Mamie Parris (former Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour)

- We are very pleased to announce that Nicole Parker (former Elphaba – Broadway) and P.J. Benjamin (former Wizard – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour) will join the 1st National Tour of “Wicked” in Denver, CO. Mr. Benjamin will join the company on May 8, replacing Mark Jacoby (Wizard – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Ms. Parker will join the company on May 18, replacing Mamie Parris (Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour). The role of Elphaba is expected to be performed by Carla Stickler (s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – 1st Ntl. Tour; former ensemble, u/s Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – 1st Ntl. Tour) from May 15-17.
