Kristin Chenoweth (original Glinda – Broadway, Pre-Broadway) will star in an untitled CBS comedy pilot. The pilot will center on Jack, a recently widowed father who is raising his 12 year-old son and jumps back into the dating pool. Ms. Chenoweth will play Marnie, Jack’s judgmental sister who works as a waitress.

Kristin Chenoweth (Glinda – Original Broadway Cast) will embark on a short U.K. tour this March, beginning on March 11 at the London Coliseum. According to Playbill, the tour will include “material from the worlds of opera, pop and musical theatre, songs from her celebrated albums, and music from the shows she has starred in.” She plans to perform in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.

Kristin Chenoweth (Original Glinda – Broadway) will be co-hosting the Oscars pre-show, entitled “The Oscars Red Carpet Live” this Sunday evening on ABC at 7:00 p.m. eastern time. This event takes place in front of the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles.
The other hosts will be Jess Cagle (the managing editor of Entertainment Weekly) and Lara Spencer (of Good Morning America).

In the 1990s, Deedee Magno Hall (former Nessarose – San Fransisco, 1st Ntl. Tour) was a member of the pop group The Party.
Laura Bell Bundy (former s/b Glinda – Broadway) and Lenny Wolpe (former Wizard – 1st Ntl. Tour, Broadway) starred together in a 1998 Paper Mill Playhouse production of the musical GYPSY. Ms. Bundy played Dainty June while Mr. Wolpe played Herbie.

Joel Grey (The Wizard – Original Broadway Cast), Kristin Chenoweth (Glinda – Original Broadway Cast) and Idina Menzel (Elphaba – Original Broadway Cast, Original West End Cast) are among the performers appearing as part of Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series in 2013.
Mr. Grey will appear as a special guest at the February 6 concert, Ring Them Bells! Rob Fisher Celebrates Kander & Ebb at 8:30pm.
Ms. Chenoweth will give two solo concerts on February 15 at 7:30pm & 9:30pm.
Ms. Menzel will appear as a special guest at the March 1 concerts, The Songs of Tom Kitt & Brian Yorkey at 7:30pm & 9:30pm.
