Eden Espinosa Will Perform Solo Concert at Cabaret at the Merc
0Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway) will perform a solo concert, LOOK AROUND: AN EVENING WITH EDEN ESPINOSA, at 7:30 PM on April 22 at Cabaret at the Merc. The concert will feature songs from Espinosa’s recently released album, LOOK AROUND and more. She will be joined by some of the same New York-based musicians featured on her album.
Tickets are $25 for orchestra, $20 for Parterre/ Balcony and $15 for students (Parterre & Balcony only; ID required).
Cabaret at the Merc is located at Old Town Temecula Community Center in Temecula, California.

Ms. Epinosa’s album is described as having “ a sound that is accessible to both die-hard Broadway fans and pop music listeners alike.” Both hard and digital copies of the album will be available. Espinosa, Manolakos & Murney Set for CITY OF HOPE: BROADWAY BLOWS BACK
0Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour; original s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway), Carrie Manolakos (former s/b Elphaba – San Francisco, 2nd Ntl. Tour), and Julia Murney (former Elphaba – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour) will perform in the upcoming CITY OF HOPE: BROADWAY BLOWS BACK concert. This event was originally scheduled for November 26, but has since been postponed until December 10. This concert will be performed at the Broadway company of WICKED’s home, the Gershwin Theatre.
This show is sponsored by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The producing team includes Betsy Werbel (ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – Broadway; former ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – 1st Ntl. This reading is invitation-only and will be presented in New York on November 9. This reading is produced by Louis Hobson.

0Heidi Kettenring (former Nessarose – Chicago) has been in twenty different shows at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre in Chicago, including, but not limited to: MY FAIR LADY, HAIRSPRAY, LITTLE WOMEN, and FUNNY GIRL.
A 2007 episode of “Ugly Betty” titled “Something Wicked This Way Comes” featured Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway), Megan Hilty (former Glinda – Los Angeles, 1st Ntl. Tour, Broadway; former s/b Glinda – Broadway), and Kristoffer Cusick (former Fiyero – Chicago, Los Angeles; u/s Fiyero – Broadway) in a performance of WICKED. In this episode, “Popular,” the second half of the Lion Cub scene, a cut version of “I’m Not That Girl,” and a cut version of “Defying Gravity” were performed.
Kevin Samual Yee (former ensemble, u/s Boq – 2nd Ntl. Tour, Chicago), Sean McCourt (former Dr. Dillamond – Broadway, original Witch’s Father, u/s Dr. Dillamond, u/s Wizard – Broadway, Pre-Broadway), and Nicolas Dromard (former Fiyero – San Francisco; former ensemble, u/s Fiyero – 1st Nat’l Tour) all performed together in the Broadway production of MARY POPPINS.
Eden Espinosa Set For DEFYING GRAVITY Benefit Concert, 10/14
0Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway) is among the performers set for DEFYING GRAVITY, a concert to benefit Art Start, a volunteer organization which provides arts workshops in New York City homeless shelters. The event takes place at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall on October 14 at 7pm in New York City. Along with the actors, eight Art Start youth will also preform. For tickets, visit www.carnegiehall.org.
