The videos were just uploaded to YouTube last month. In the first video, Ms. Vivino performs the “What if celebrities were in WICKED?” impersonations she is known for, then performs “The Wizard and I” as herself. Helen Dallimore (original Glinda – West End) and Pippa Grandison (former Elphaba – Sydney) appeared as Nurses in the 2001 ABC made-for-television movie of SOUTH PACIFIC.
Vivino and Haas to Perform at National Museum of American History
0Donna Vivino (s/b Elphaba – Broadway; former Elphaba, former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Tiffany Haas (s/b Glinda – Broadway; former Glinda, former ensemble, u/s Glinda, u/s Nessarose – 2nd Ntl. Tour; former swing, u/s Nessarose – Broadway, 2nd Ntl. Tour) will perform at SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. This is a special performance at the National Museum of American History in Washington, DC to celebrate the donation of an Elphaba Act 2 dress and broom to the museum. In addition to Vivino and Haas, WICKED costume designer Susan Hilferty will also be present.
This free event is scheduled for 11:15 AM on December 17.
Donna Vivino to Perform “The Wizard and I” on Sirius XM
0Donna Vivino (s/b Elphaba – Broadway; former Elphaba, s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) tweeted tonight that she will be performing “The Wizard and I” live on Saturday, November 24, 2012, on Seth Rudetsky’s show on Sirius XM at 11:00 am Eastern Time. Be sure to tune in and catch her performance.

- Deedee Magno Hall (former Nessarose – San Francisco, 1st Ntl. Tour) and Cliffton Hall (former Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour), who are married and performed together as Nessarose and Fiyero, respectively, met while touring internationally with MISS SAIGON.

Vivino and Brightman Cast in STARS OF DAVID
0Donna Vivino (s/b Elphaba – Broadway; former Elphaba, former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Alex Brightman (former Boq – Broadway) have been cast in the upcoming world premiere of the new musical, STARS OF DAVID. STARS OF DAVID gives “a snapshot of Jewish identity” and includes music by several major musical theatre writers, including William Finn, Duncan Sheik, Tom Kitt, Jeanine Tesori, and one of the last songs written by the late Marvin Hamlisch. STARS OF DAVID will play at the Philadelphia Theatre Company’s Suzanne Roberts Theatre from October 17-November 18. Opening night is scheduled for October 24.
