Patti Murin (Glinda – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Colin Hanlon (former Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour) are featured on the recently release album, NEXT THING YOU KNOW, a new musical written by Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham. The studio cast recording of the show was released by Yellow Sound Label on September 4.

0Several WICKED alumni will participate in the NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYMF), which runs from July 9-29, 2012. NYMF is an annual festival winch presents new musicals. Check out where you can see WICKED alumni!
Ben Vereen (former Wizard – Broadway, Chicago), will be the honorary chairman and host the opening night of NYMF on July 9.
Alex Brightman (former Boq – Broadway) will appear in the musical SIDEKICKS!
Maria Eberline (former ensemble, u/s Elphaba, Nessarose – 1st Nat’l Tour; former ensemble, u/s Elphaba – Broadway) will appear in the musical ZAPATA! THE MUSICAL.
Michelle Federer (Nessarose – Original Broadway Cast) will appear in the musical HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN?
Jenna Leigh Green (former Nessarose – Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Nat’l Tour; former u/s Elphaba – 1st Nat’l Tour) and Colin Hanlon (former Fiyero – 1st Nat’l Tour) will appear in the musical IT’S ON!

BenShlomo, Federer, Northen, Hanlon, and Vivino Set for “If It Only Even Runs A Minute” Concert
2Five “Wicked” alumni will be featured in the next edition of “If It Only Even Runs A Minute,” a series that offers rare songs and behind-the-scenes tales from musicals that may have not been fully appreciated when they opened. The event will be presented on June 17, 2012 at 7 PM and 10 PM at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. This event is only open to those 18 years of age or older.
The 7 PM concert will feature Etai BenShlomo (Boq – Broadway; former Boq – 1st Ntl. Tour, San Francisco), Michelle Federer (original Nessarose – Broadway, Pre-Broadway), and Lindsay K. Northen (ensemble, u/s Glinda – Broadway). The 10 PM concert will feature Colin Hanlon (former Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Donna Vivino (s/b Elphaba – Broadway; former Elphaba, former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour).

0Colin Hanlon (former Fiyero – 1st Ntl.) appears in the online sitcom “Submissions Only” as Tim Trull, along with Annaleigh Ashford (former Glinda – Broadway, Chicago; former ensemble & u/s Glinda – 1st Ntl. Tour), who has a recurring role of “Adorable Girl.”
Dee Roscioli (former Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour, Broadway, Chicago; former s/b Elphaba – Chicago, San Francisco) holds the distinction of having performed in more performances as Elphaba than any other actress. She has performed as Elphaba in over 1000 performances.
Alli Mauzey (former Glinda – San Francisco, Broadway; former s/b Glinda – Broadway) played Cinderella in the Nashville Symphony Orchestra’s performance of “Cinderella” alongside Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway; former s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway), who played the Fairy Godmother.

Jared Zirilli Rounds Out Cast of “Twilight” Reading
0It was announced this morning that Jared Zirilli (former ensemble, u/s Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour) will be performing the role of Jacob in the “Twilight” reading. This is the role that Taylor Lautner played in the movie.
He joins other “Wicked” alums Colin Hanlon (former Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Jenna Leigh Green (former Nessarose – Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former u/s Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) as previously announced. Click here for that announcement.

Colin Hanlon & Jenna Leigh Green To Play “Twilight” Reading At New World Stages

Colin Hanlon (former Fiyero – 1st Ntl.) will be reading the role of Edward in an upcoming reading of Twilight: The Musical. Jenna Leigh Green (former Nessarose – Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl.; former u/s Elphaba – 1Ntl.) will be reading the roles of Rosalie, Hermione, (et al.). The reading will be presented on January 16.

Caroline Bowman has replaced Stephanie Torns in the ensemble and as an understudy for Elphaba.
Maia Evwaraye-Griffin has returned to the ensemble, replacing Kristina Fernandez.
Brian Munn has replaced Anthony Galde as a swing and understudy for The Wizard and Dr. Dillamond.
Heather Spore has returned in the ensemble and as an understudy for Glinda. Amanda Rose, who was a temporary replacement for her, has left the production.
Briana Yacavone, who was a swing and understudy for Nessarose, has left the production.

Katie Rose Clarke has replaced Amanda Jane Cooper as Glinda.
Kyle Dean Massey has replaced Colin Hanlon as Fiyero.
Nicky Venditti has joined the cast as a swing and understudy for Chistrey.
