Espinosa, Manolakos & Murney Set for CITY OF HOPE: BROADWAY BLOWS BACK
0Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour; original s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway), Carrie Manolakos (former s/b Elphaba – San Francisco, 2nd Ntl. Tour), and Julia Murney (former Elphaba – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour) will perform in the upcoming CITY OF HOPE: BROADWAY BLOWS BACK concert. This event was originally scheduled for November 26, but has since been postponed until December 10. This concert will be performed at the Broadway company of WICKED’s home, the Gershwin Theatre.
This show is sponsored by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The producing team includes Betsy Werbel (ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – Broadway; former ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Richard H. Blake (former Fiyero – Asian Tour, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour). This concert will be performed at 7:30 PM.

Broadway Production
Teal Wicks has replaced Mandy Gonzalez as Elphaba.
Betsy Werbel has replaced Sarah Bolt in the ensemble and as the understudy for Madame Morrible. Ms. Werbel has previously performed this track on the first national tour of the show. Ms. Bolt is leaving to perform in the Broadway Production of “Sister Act”.
Heather Spore has returned to the production in the ensemble and as the understudy for Glinda.
1st National Tour
Jenn Furman has temporarily joined the first national tour, covering the vacation of Renee Lawless-Orsini. She is in the midwife; u/s Madame Morrible track.
