The 2nd National Touring Company of WICKED, currently in Charlotte, North Carolina, will be presenting WICKED AFTER DARK on Thursday, March 28, 2013. The event, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (RAIN), will take place at the McGlohon Theater at 11:00 PM. The doors will open at 10:00 PM for a silent auction, and the show, which has three sets, live musicians, and a live auction – including for a walk-on role in the show, ride in Glinda’s bubble, and viewing session of Elphaba being greenified!

Donna Vivino (s/b Elphaba – Broadway; former Elphaba, former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Tiffany Haas (s/b Glinda – Broadway; former Glinda, former ensemble, u/s Glinda, u/s Nessarose – 2nd Ntl. Tour; former swing, u/s Nessarose – Broadway, 2nd Ntl. Tour) will perform at SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. This is a special performance at the National Museum of American History in Washington, DC to celebrate the donation of an Elphaba Act 2 dress and broom to the museum. In addition to Vivino and Haas, WICKED costume designer Susan Hilferty will also be present.
This free event is scheduled for 11:15 AM on December 17.
Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour; original s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway), Carrie Manolakos (former s/b Elphaba – San Francisco, 2nd Ntl. Tour), and Julia Murney (former Elphaba – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour) will perform in the upcoming CITY OF HOPE: BROADWAY BLOWS BACK concert. This event was originally scheduled for November 26, but has since been postponed until December 10. This concert will be performed at the Broadway company of WICKED’s home, the Gershwin Theatre.
This show is sponsored by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The producing team includes Betsy Werbel (ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – Broadway; former ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – 1st Ntl. On December 3, 2012, at 9:30 PM, BROADWAY SINGS BEYONCÉ will be held at Le Poisson Rouge, and like the BROADWAY SINGS ADELE concert held earlier this year, will feature several “Wicked” alumni: Alexa Green (former ensemble, u/s Glinda – San Francisco, Los Angeles), Corey Mach (former ensemble, u/s Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour), Kristine Reese (former Nessarose – 2nd Ntl. Tour, 1st Ntl. Tour; former swing, u/s Nessarose – 1st Ntl. Tour), and Saycon Sengbloh (former s/b Elphaba – Broadway).
According to the Le Poisson Rouge website, tickets will be $25 in advance and $30 at the door, with a two beverage/food purchase expectation. Student (standing room) tickets are $12.
Several WICKED performers from the West End production, along with other West End theater actors, will give a charity concert FOR JOANNA…..AN AFTERNOON OF MUSIC 0n Sunday, November 18, 2012. Jennifer Tierney (former ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible, Elphaba – West End) has put this event together to honor her friend, Joanna.
Joanna was diagnosed with cancer five years ago and is now terminally ill. She is a lover of theater and music and has been friends with Jennifer Tierney for ten years. Joanna has been residing at St Christopher’s Hospice in London for the last two years. This concert raise funds for the hospice.
Besides Ms. Tierney, other West End WICKED performers will include: Andrew Bryant (ensemble, u/s Boq), Nikki Davis Jones (s/b Elphaba), Lauren James-Ray (former ensemble, u/s Nessarose), Thomas Sutcliffe (former ensemble, u/s Boq) and Liam Tamne (former ensemble, u/s Fiyero).
The event takes place at Battersea Barge in London from 2:00-4:30 in the afternoon.

On October 18, several cast members from the 2nd National Tour of WICKED will perform in WITCHES’ NIGHT OUT, a benefit concert for Baltimore’s Moveable Feast and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The cabaret is set for 11:30 PM at Grand Central in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon neighborhood. Doors open at 11 PM. Admission to the concert is $20 ($40 for front row “VIP” seating). Tickets are tax-deductible and all proceeds will benefit the two charities. A live auction will also take place, including opportunities for backstage visits to the Hippodrome Theatre to see Elphaba get green and also a chance to be “greenified” by a WICKED makeup artist. This event is open to people 21 years of age or older.
The 2nd National Touring Cast of WICKED will be hosting WITCHES’ NIGHT OUT in Louisville as a benefit for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids and for the Louisville AIDS Walk. The event will be on Sunday, September 23, with doors opening at 9:30 PM. Tickets will be $15.
The event will occur at Rudyard Kipling / The Motherloge in Louisville on 422 Oak Street and will feature a cabaret, food/drink, and live auction.

The Broadway company of “Wicked” will be performing a special encore to the “Wicked Day” performance of the show on Sunday, October 30, 2011. The company will be performing a song of the fans’ choice in a concert style following curtain call – and the performance will be streamed on Facebook for all to see!
This Thursday, the Broadway company of “Wicked” will be performing at Broadway in Bryant Park in New York City at 12:30 PM. In addition, the casts of “Rent”, “Death Takes a Holiday”, “Jersey Boys”, and “The Lion King” will be performing.
If past tradition holds true, Jennifer DiNoia (s/b Elphaba – Broadway; former s/b Elphaba, ensemble, u/s Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Chicago) and Laura Woyasz (s/b Glinda – Broadway; former s/b Glinda – Los Angeles; former ensemble, u/s Glinda – 1st Ntl.
