Etai BenShlomo (former Boq – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour, San Francisco) will perform the role of Chaim in the upcoming reading of the new musical, TO PAINT THE EARTH. TO PAINT THE EARTH has music by Jonathan Portera, book and lyrics by Daniel F. Levin and is directed by Alan Souza. This musical is inspired by first-hand accounts of the Jewish Underground in the Warsaw Ghetto and tells a fictional account of the resisters and their families. This reading is presented in observation of the 70th Anniversary of the Uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto.

TO PAINT THE EARTH will be presented at the New Jersey Repertory Company on April 22. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the reading will begin promptly at 7 PM, followed by a discussion. Admission is free and seating is first come, first served. The New Jersey Repertory Company is located in Long Branch, New Jersey.
