Several WICKED Alumni Set for CANCER’S EXPENSIVE Benefit

Several WICKED alumni will be featured in an upcoming benefit concert, titled CANCER’S EXPENSIVE. The concert is scheduled for 7 PM on August 26, 2012 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City and will benefit singer-actress Carly Jibson’s mother, who is suffering from stage four lung and bone cancer. The WICKED alumni scheduled to perform in the concert are: Eden Espinosa (former Elphaba – San Francisco, Los Angeles, Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour; former s/b Elphaba, u/s Nessarose – Broadway), Caissie Levy (former Elphaba, former s/b Elphaba – Los Angeles; former ensemble, u/s Elphaba – Broadway), Jenna Leigh Green (former Nessarose – Los Angeles, Broadway; former Nessarose, u/s Elphaba – 1st Ntl. Tour), Marty Thomas (former ensemble, u/s Boq; former swing, u/s Boq – Broadway) and the cast of Off-Broadway’s FAT CAMP, which included Jared Zirilli (former ensemble, u/s Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Bridie Carroll (ensemble, u/s Madame Morrible – 2nd Ntl. Tour).
