Mariand Torres to replace Merideth Kaye Clark as standby for Elphaba

We have been informed that on May 11, 2010, Mariand Torres will replace Merideth Kaye Clark as the standby for Elphaba on the 1st National Tour of “Wicked”.     We had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Torres in Houston on July 6th. Far from being dissappointed, her performance and vocal talents were wonderful and we look forward to seeing her in more starring musical roles.
