Jessica Vosk Kristen Martin
The 2nd National Tour of WICKED will welcome two new witches on September 7. Jessica Vosk will take on the role of Elphaba, replacing Emily Koch. Ms. Vosk was most recently seen in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF on Broadway. Other Broadway credits include THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY and FINDING NEVERLAND. Kristen Martin will takeover the role of Nessarose from Megan Masako Haley. Ms. Martin was in the original Broadway cast of SPIDERMAN: TURN OFF THE DARK. Other credits include 42nd STREET, A CHORUS LINE, CATS, FOOTLOOSE, A COMEDY OF TENORS, and DAMES AT SEA.
They join a cast that includes Amanda Jane Cooper as Glinda, Stuart Zagnit as The Wizard, Wendy Worthington as Madame Morrible, Jeremy Woodard as Fiyero, Sam Seferian as Boq, and Chad Jennings as Dr. Dillamond.

The full lineup has been announced for the twelfth installment of the Broadway Sings series. The lineup for BROADWAY SINGS THE BEATLES includes Carrie St. Louis (Glinda – Broadway, former Glinda – 2nd Natl. Tour), Corey Mach (former ensemble, u/s Fiyero – 1st Natl. Tour), Dawn Cantwell (Nessarose – Broadway), Alison Luff (former Elphaba – 1st Natl. Tour),and Michael Wartella (former Boq- Broadway, 2nd Natl. Tour).

Kristin Chenoweth (original Glinda – Broadway, Pre-Broadway) has teased via Twitter that she will release a new album this fall. Titled “The Art of Elegance”, the album is set for digital release on September 23 and physical release on September 30.
Mandy Gonzalez (former Elphaba – Broadway) will replace Tony winner Renée Elise Goldsberry as Anjelica Schuyler in HAMILTON. No date has been set for Ms. Goldsberry’s final show and Ms. Gonzalez’s first show. HAMILTON “explores the life of the American founding father and first Secretary of the Treasury, as well as his experiences as an orphan of the British West Indies who immigrated to the 13 Colonies and helped shape the United States of America.”
Dee Roscioli (former Elphaba – 1st Natl. Tour, Broadway; former s/b Elphaba – San Francisco, Chicago) will replace Jessica Vosk in the role of Fruma Sarah in the Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Vosk’s last performance is set for August 7. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is playing at the Broadway Theatre through December 31.
Michael Campayno will join the Broadway cast of WICKED as Fiyero on August 1. He will take over for Jonah Platt. Campayno most recently appeared in THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! as Rolf. Regionally, he appeared in NEXT TO NORMAL, CAROUSEL, SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, and ALL SHOOK UP.
As previously announced, he will join Jennifer DiNoia who takes over the role of Elphaba from Rachel Tucker. The cast also includes Carrie St. Louis as Glinda, Judy Kaye as Madame Morrible, Peter Scolari as The Wizard, Dawn Cantwell as Nessarose, Michael Genet as Dr. Dillamond, and Zachary Noah Piser as Boq.
Idina Menzel (Elphaba – Original Broadway Cast, Original West End Cast) has been cast in the Lifetime remake of Garry Marshall’s 1988 film “Beaches”. Menzel will take on the role of CC, originally played by Bette Midler. “Beaches” tells the story of “”the serendipitous meeting of two youngsters, CC and Hillary, on the Venice Boardwalk, who, though worlds apart in lifestyle, embark on unexpected and lifelong friendship.” The film is set to premiere in 2017.
Jenn Gambatese (former Glinda – 1st Natl. Tour) will succeed Sierra Boggess as Principal Rosalie Mullins in SCHOOL OF ROCK – THE MUSICAL. Boggess plays her last performance on Monday, August 8.
Kristin Chenoweth (original Glinda – Broadway, Pre-Broadway) starred on the final season of “The West Wing”. Taye Diggs (former Fiyero – Broadway) and Peter Scolari (Wizard – Broadway) also guest starred on the show.
Brynn O’Malley (former Nessarose – 1st Natl. Tour, Broadway) and Jenni Barber (former Glinda – Broadway) both played the role of Grace Farrell in ANNIE on Broadway. Desi Oakley (former Universal Swing) was a Grace Farrell understudy in this production.
Christopher Fitzgerald (original Boq – Broadway) is currently starring in WAITRESS on Broadway. Stephanie Torns (former s/b Elphaba – 2nd Natl. Tour; former ensemble, u/s Elphaba – Broadway, 1st Natl. Tour) is in the ensemble.
