This concert will feature music from GHOSTLIGHT, a Broadway bound musical by Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin and well-known covers. Martin and Realbuto will co-host the event, as well as sing. Kate Fahrner (former s/b Glinda – Broadway; former t/r Glinda, former ensemble, u/s Glinda, u/s Nessarose – Chicago) has been cast as an understudy in the off-Broadway play, UNDER MY SKIN. Ms. Fahrner will cover the roles of Melody Dent, Casey Dent, Nanette and Victoria, played by Kerry Butler, Allison Strong, Megan Sikora (former ensemble, u/s Glinda, u/s Nessarose – Chicago, Broadway) and Kate Loprest (former ensemble, u/s Glinda, u/s Nessarose – Chicago). Currently in previews, UNDER MY SKIN will open at the Little Shubert Theatre on May 15. Tickets are currently on sale through July 6.

THANKSKILLING THE MUSICAL will make its New York debut at the first annual Festival of the Offensive. The musical, adapted from the cult horror movie of the same name, will be directed by David Eck (in association with Ashley Kate Adams and AKA Studio Productions) and choreographed by David Rosetti. Musical direction will be provided by Aaron Jodoin. F. Michael Haynie (former Boq – Broadway) and Alex Brightman (former Boq – Broadway) have both been cast in the production.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) will highlight the three songwriting teams of Paul Gordon, Barbara Anselmi & Brian Hargrove, and Ben Clark, who have been part of NAMT’s Festival of New Musicals. As well as the writers themselves, set to perform for the evening are WICKED alums Patti Murin (former Glinda – 1st Ntl. Tour) and Corey Mach (former ensemble, u/s Fiyero – 1st Ntl. Tour).

Saycon Sengbloh (former s/b Elphaba – Broadway) has been cast in the upcoming Broadway production of HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, a new musical based off of the lyrics of Tupac Shakur. Ms. Sengbloh will be performing the role of Corinne.
Preview performances at the Palace Theatre begin on May 29 before opening on June 19.

Katie Rose Clarke (former Glinda – Broadway, 1st Ntl. Tour) will play Cathy Hyatt in Long Wharf Theatre’s upcoming production of THE LAST FIVE YEARS. This production will begin May 7, prior to an official opening May 14, and will run through June 1. Written by Jason Robert Brown, THE LAST FIVE YEARS chronicles a doomed five-year relationship through a series of solo songs.
